Task Automation in System Administration

Description

This course will introduce shell scripts both in Unix/Linux and window system which are very useful for system administration and system-level programmers interacting with OS or network. Through hands-on practices, students will learn basics of BASH/TCSH (Unix/Linux) to write script performing automation tasks including file manipulation, program execution, and printing text. They will also learn the basics of PowerShell (Windows) and their use in task automation.
