Entrance into the BS in HCPM is available to freshmen meeting college entry requirements and to associate degree graduates (AS & AA) in good academic standing. Students with alternative degrees (AAS) or from outside CUNY who are in good academic standing should have their credits evaluated to ensure compliance with university general education requirements and evaluation of their outstanding HCPM degree requirements.

For progression in the curriculum, students:

Must receive a minimum grade of “C” in each core upper-level courses (3xxx plus) designated with the prefix HSCI.
Must maintain an overall 2.5 GPA.

A student falling below 2.5 will have one semester to resolve this deficit. If a student fails to meet the above requirements, he/she will be withdrawn from the program.
