Principles of Occlusion

Description

An introduction to the principles of occlusion (gnathology), including the anatomical structures of the oral cavity, the determinants of occlusal morphology and the physiology of mandibular movements as they relate to the fabrication of dental restorations. Three laboratory exercises in cusp-to-marginal ridge and cusp-to-fossa waxing using semi-adjustable articulators will be performed.
