Special Topics in Information Technology
Description
This course explores the new and emerging trends in hardware and software that are at the leading edge of information technology. Topics will be selected from beyond the work of the 700 level in each of the six specialty modules. Topics will differ each semester depending on what is the present state-of-the-art in information technology. Students will gather information on these topics by use of the Internet, attending seminars, and trade shows and attending industry briefings. Students are expected to research an advanced topic and present it in verbal and written form. In addition preparation for a job search through review of resume preparation, interviewing techniques, etc.
